Gohardasht Prison
Twelve political prisoners in Gohardasht Prison of Karaj went on hunger strike in support of political prisoners in ward 350 of Tehran’s notorious Evin Prison. The issued a statement saying:
“We the signatories of this statement in support of the brave men of ward 350 in Evin Prison and in sympathy with their noble families will launch a hunger strike on Thursday, April 4th. Our demands are as follows:
1. Those injured and hurt to be hospitalized outside of prison
2. All demands of the ward 350 Evin political prisoners be provided for
3. Return of all political prisoners from solitary confinement to ward 350
4. Allowing in person meetings for families with their detained loved ones
5. Demand the prosecution and punishment of those behind this horrific crime
