The Iranian regime’s deputy governor of Tehran confirmed a 25% increase in taxi rates in the Iranian capital.
An increase in the price of gasoline and diesel fuel in April signaled the official beginning of the second phase of Rouhani’s targeted subsidies plan. In less than a week the regime’s governor office in Tehran passed a bill increasing the price of taxi rates. Based on this plan the new price of taxi rates will be implanted on May 6th in Tehran. It is worth noting that it was previously announced that taxi rates will be increased by 25%, bus rates 20% and metro rates 15%.
