Labor protests reported in Iranian cities of Andimeshk, Dashtestan, Shahr-e Kord & Khoramshahr

                   
                                        Labor protests sparked across Iran

Andimeshk:

Angry railway workers in this city rallied on Sunday night protesting not receiving their paychecks, and they also attacked the home of the head of the Andimeshk railway department. They clashed with the home guard and injured him.

Shahr-e Kord:

Contract workers of the communications company rallied outside the office of Saeed Zamaniyan, the MP from this city, protesting not receiving their paychecks.

Khoramshahr:

Workers of the Khoramshahr Soap Factory rallied outside the company on Saturday, May 17^th, protesting not receiving their delayed paychecks.

Dashtestan near Bushehr:

Nearly 500 workers of the Dashtestan Cement Factory in the city of Bushehr continued their protests which they had started on May 5^th. These workers are protesting their occupation title being changed in the contract, leaving them deprived of their legal pensions and also not having their delayed demands responded to.
