Nasrin Sotudeh, jurist and public prosecutor who was jailed for 3 years in the mullahs’ prisons, the winner of the Sakharov Prize, described the execution of Gholamreza Khosravi as the Iran ian regime’s response to “popular protests over the attack against the political prisoners ward” in Tehran’s notorious Evin Prison .
“A new round of judicial attacks against civil and political activists has initiated. The vicious raid into ward 350, summoning and detaining civil activists and reporters, executing political prisoner Gholamreza Khosravi that took place amidst widespread protests of human rights activists inside Iran and across the globe, all are vivid examples of this judicial attack,” she said.
