Iran: pol prisoner Shahrokh Zamani issues call supporting hunger strike of Reza Shahabi

Political prisoner Shahrokh Zamani sent a message from Gohardasht Prison in Karaj, west of Tehran, calling for measures to be taken to save the life of political prisoner Reza Shahabi.
This message reads in part: “Political prisoner and labor activist Reza Shahabi, on his 34th day of hunger strike, is literally facing death! Rush to his support in any way possible! Please accept my warmest salutations from the hellish dungeon called Gohardasht Prison! … Our only ‘crime’ has been legal activities and efforts to establish an independent syndicate as the only means of defending ourselves against exploitation of the labor class”.
