Eman’s father, Jaber was arrested in Feb. 2011 accused of acting against the government. Jaber was an activist with the Al-Hevar Cultural Society of intellectuals. Eman’s father has been sentenced to death for his peaceful and non-violent political activity in their town, Southern Iran.
