Khamenei mouthpiece: arrested American journalists in Iran must receive utmost punishment

                 

With human rights violations and crackdown against journalists continuing in Iran, a Khamenei mouthpiece called for the utmost punishment for the recently arrested Washington Post journalists in Iran.
The state-run Bassij news agency reported numerous documents exist showing these arrested Washington Post journalists were busy spying in Iran.
Jason Rezaiian, the American-Iranian Washington Post journalist, was arrested on July 22nd along with three other individuals, with his wife being among them. Some sources say these individuals are currently kept in safe house.
