A number of people clashed verbally on Thursday Jan 29th with a Basij agent in Atesh-Neshani Street near Tehran metro station which eventually led to physical scuffle and chastising and punishing the agent. The incident started when the agent made trouble for a woman beggar and her young child on the street.
As the agent started to shout at the beggar, people from around reacted and protested against this inhumane treatment. The aggressive response of the Basij agent sparked angry reaction from the crowd and subsequent scuffle with the annoying Basij.
