Arak- factory workers protest gathering in front of provincial government headquarters.

A group of workers from Arak Petrochemical Plants, Arak Automotive Industry, Iranian Aluminum Company, Construction Workers Trade Unions, Interurban Driver’s Trade Unions, Driving Schools Trade Unions, and Central province’s Driving schools held gatherings on Thursday, April 30 in front of provincial government headquarters in commemoration of Workers Day. Right at the start of the gathering, the repressive agents intervened and tried to prevent the gathering from taking place and arrested a number of the workers who wanted to participate in this gathering. But due to the fear of expansion of the protest, they released their detainees.
