Canada: Iranian regime is responsible for a long list of human rights violations

Canada’s foreign minister, Robert Nicolson said Iran is responsible for a long list of human rights violations. Iran is systematically targets and harasses human rights activists. He condemned the repression of members of the Bahaie faith in Iran and called for immediate freedom of Bahaie prisoners. 
The Canada foreign ministry said in a statement that the government of Canada calls for immediate suspension of harassment and organized pursuit and detention of all religious minorities, including Sunnis, Christians and Dervishes. Canada’s foreign minister also expressed concern over the execution of more than 340 people from the start of this year in Iran.
