Iran: teachers in western city demand release of activist

Despite all kinds of pressures imposed by the Iranian regime’s agents on teachers to quell their protests, and threats made to force members of the teachers’ union to step down from their position, on Wednesday, July 8th teachers in the city of Mariwan protested in support of Ismaeel Abdi, Secretary-General of the Teachers Union in Iran and demanded his release.
