From March to this day three Kurdish women and girls were killed in various methods and for unknown reasons. In the most recent report on Sunday, July 19 in the city of Marivan the body of a woman by the name of Esmat Rezaie was found in her home and she was killed with an axe blow to her head. She was 48 years old.
Moreover, another body, this time of a young college girl, was found in a Mahabad girls dormitory and the reason of her death remains a mystery.
