Iran: Ahwazi Youth clashed with State Security Forces, SSF, at the City’s Sport Stadium

Angry youth and football fans at Qadir football Stadium in the southern city of Ahwaz clashed with the SSF on Friday, November 20, 2015 while throwing sound grenades and fire crackers at the security guards. They also chanted anti-government slogans.
The match was between two local football clubs of Foulad and Esteghlal. Large events such as football matches usually turn in to an anti-government rally in Iran. Frustrated and desponded youth usually use such occasions to show their frustration and anger at the government’s disability to solve social hurdles.
