The bill on Promoting Virtue and Prohibiting Vice (PVPV) was adopted Thursday, December 17, 2015, and is going to be enforced.
The news was announced by Zargar, secretary of the PVPV staff. He said that according to the law, Friday prayers will head the PVPV staffs in all provinces and the provincial governors will act as secretary of each staff.
The PVPV law mainly focuses on veiling of women and reinvigorates the Iranian regime's efforts to restrict freedoms, exerting even further control on people's lives and privacy.
