Iran: Civil activist held in prison without specific ruling

The case of civil activist Atena Daemi, detained in Tehran’s Evin Prison, remains in limbo and despite the fact that her case has been sent to branch 36 for review, the proceedings have been put on hold ostensibly due to shortage of judges.
Amnesty International has called for Ms. Daemi’s unconditional release. However, this call has been completely ignored by Iranian regime officials.
