Four out of Five Iranian women are just housewives

An official in the Women’s Department of the Iranian regime president’s office admitted that four out of five Iranian women are staying at homes being just housewives. 
Susan Bastani, said unemployment amongst women is 40%. This figure was 29.5% from 2007 to 2011, according to Bastani.
Women’s economic participation in the public sector has decreased in the past 20 years from 39.5% to 27%. Bastani said only 18% of the guild and expert roles are allocated to women.
“Unfortunately, despite the increasing number of educated women, we have had no serious increase in this regard,” she emphasized.
Last year Shahindokht Molvardi, Hassan Rouhani ’s deputy in women and family affairs had said Iran is witnessing an increasing number of single mothers, women growing older and more women suffering from poverty, and that such a phenomenon needs attention.
