Political prisoner Matlab Ahmadiyan was transferred from Sanandaj Central Prison to an unknown location on Tuesday, March 8. This prisoner has had no contact with his family and to this day he has not been returned to Sanandaj Central Prison.
Ahmadiyan, 31, was arrested on October 5, 2010, and after enduring 230 days in solitary confinement he was convicted for “moharebe” (enmity against God) and sentenced to 31 years behind in exile in Minab prison (southern Iran).
