Iran: Coronavirus Fatalities in 465 Cities Exceeds 162,800

  • Head of Arak Cemetery: Compared to last year, the death toll has doubled daily. We have no land left, and we are out of breath. Now we are at the peak of danger.

The People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) announced this afternoon, Saturday, December 21, 2020, that the Coronavirus death toll in 465 cities had exceeded 162,800. The number of victims in Tehran is 40,021, Isfahan 9,195, Khuzestan 8,960, Lorestan 6,790, East Azerbaijan 6,194, Gilan 5,636, West Azerbaijan 5,634, Fars 4,477, Alborz 4,380, Sistan and Baluchestan 4,131, Hamedan 4,120, Golestan 4,076, Kermanshah 3,543, Central Province 3,128, Kerman 2,859, Yazd 2,837, North Khorasan 2,608, Semnan 2,434, Ilam 1,580, Khorasan South 1,461, and Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari 1,280.

The regime’s Deputy Health Minister, wrote in a letter of resignation to the Health Minister, Saeid Namaki, on November 21: The extraordinarily wrong and flawed coronavirus pandemic management has cost a lot of human lives in Iran, and despite that, you claim, you can teach a lesson on how to manage the coronavirus crisis to other countries.
