Iran: Coronavirus fatalities surpass 482,700

 Health Ministry’s Center for Infectious Diseases: Based on the latest statistics, the Coronavirus infection and hospitalization have surged by 24.17% and 11.32%, respectively. (Tasnim news agency, November 29, 2021)

• West Azerbaijan Medical University: Currently, 661 COVID-19 patients are hospitalized, 164 are in ICU, and 37 patients use respiratory systems. (Mehr news agency, November 29, 2021)
• Isfahan Medical University: During the past 24 hours, 172 COVID-19 patients were hospitalized in the Province. (Mehr, November 29, 2021)
• Shiraz Medical University: During the past 24 hours, 155 COVID-19 patients were hospitalized, 147 in ICU. (Mehr, November 29, 2021)
• In Ardabil, the COVID-19 death toll has risen threefold; currently, 177 COVID-19 patients are hospitalized, 44 in the ICU. (IRNA news agency, November 29, 2021)

The People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) announced on Monday, November 29, 2021, that the Coronavirus death toll in 547 cities surpassed 482,700. The number of victims in Tehran has reached 113,095, Isfahan 33,115, West Azerbaijan 18,123, Fars 17,970, Mazandaran 17,605, East Azerbaijan 16,663, Lorestan 16,000, Qom 13,090, Golestan 10,550, Ilam 4,598, and Zanjan 4,565.
