Iran: Coronavirus Deaths Exceed 505,300

 The regime’s Deputy Health Minister: More than 60,000 COVID-19 outpatient visits and nearly 4,000 hospitalizations are reported daily. (ISNA news agency, February 12, 2022)

•  “In Tehran and 25 other provinces, the number of hospitalizations and deaths have increased, red cities have surged from 120 to 247 cities, and we do not have a blue (infection free) city.” (ISNA, February 12, 2022)
•  Ahvaz Medical University: In the past 24 hours, 7,000 COVID-19 patients were referred to the Province’s medical centers. (ISNA, February 12, 2022)
•  Mashhad Medical University: The number of COVID-19 patients has increased from 5% to between 50% and 55% in the past two weeks, and we have 3,500 to 4,000 COVID-19 patients daily. (IRNA news agency, February 12, 2022)
• The number of COVID-19 hospitalizations has increased five-fold and increases exponentially because of the (state’s) inaction. A million people are in danger of hospitalization. The Behesht-e Zahra Cemetery (Tehran’s largest Cemetery) cannot accept more than 200 corpses per day. (State-run daily, Mostaghel, February 12, 2022)

The People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) announced on Saturday, February 12, 2022, that the Coronavirus death toll in 547 cities surpassed 505,300. The number of victims Tehran has reached 118,055, Khorasan Razavi 40,575, Isfahan 35,050, Khuzestan 30,435, Fars 19,200, West Azerbaijan 19,028, Mazandaran 18,290, Gilan 17,460, East Azerbaijan 17,448, Lorestan 16,650, Sistan and Baluchestan 13,935, Kerman 13,632, Qom 13,595 Golestan 10,970, Kermanshah 9,454, Hamedan 9,338, Hormozgan 8,420, Kurdistan 8,317, Semnan 6,660, North Khorasan 6,508, Ardabil 6,455, Qazvin 5,974, Bushehr 5,659, Ilam 4,838, Zanjan 4,880, and South Khorasan 4,511.
