Iran: Youth clashes with security forces in Milan-Macoo

Following clashes between the Kurdish youth and Suppressive State Security forces, SSF, in the town of Milan-Macoo, northwestern Iran, a number of youth were injured and arrested. 
The clashes erupted following degrading and insulting treatment of elderlies in this town by these SSF which caused reaction among the youth and subsequent clash and injuries. 
In the beginning the number of youth overwhelmed the SSF, but the forces called backups and attacked the people arresting a number of them. 
The arrest and injuries to the youth has backlashed and there is a climate of unrest in that town. The SSF has tried to use one of the older sheikhs to quell the unrest, but has not been successful. 
One of the injured who has been identified as Habib Saifi Dervish is said to be in critical condition in the hospital. 

Iran: 1000 workers protested against the mullahs’ labor law in Tehran

About 1000 workers and retired government employees demonstrated in Khazaneh district of Tehran on Thursday Nov. 20th against the mullahs’ labor law. Their protest was also focused on regulations that are aimed at further depriving them and making them poorer. The workers also rejected new limitations which have been added to the existing laws. They were carrying placards and signs against president Rouhani’s anti-labor policies.

Iran: clashes between Tehran youth and mullahs’ security agents

An attempt by the security forces and plain clothes agents to harass youth and foreign tourists in a café restaurant in Niavaran district of Tehran on Wednesday led to clashes and protest by the people. When the agents encountered stiff resistance and protest by the people, retreated and left the café and the people alone.

Iran’s bodybuilding athletes protest lack of facilities

A number of athletes of Empire Bodybuilding Club in Khoaram-Abad, southwestern Iran, who are holding official authorization to work, protested on Nov. 18th against lack of facilities including heating units. They also said they refrain from attending this club unless their demands are met.
Protest against government incompetence is growing in the country among youth, athletes, workers and even government employees.
