Iran: 3 prisoners hanged today (Wednesday) in Urumiah Prison

Based on reliable sources from inside Iran, 3 prisoners who were identified as Salah-eddin Sherafat, from Oshnoviah; Samad Mohammadi, from Naqadeh and a third person identified by his first name only, Ali were hanged at dawn today, Wednesday, March 11th in Urumiah under the Qesas penal code which is the law of retribution or 'an eye for an eye.'
Amnesty International has condemned the barbaric punishment of Qesas as inhumane and against all international laws and has urged the Iranian regime to stop this punishment. Recently a man was forcibly blinded by the authorities purring acid in to his eye for crime he had done before purring acid at the face of another man.
