Iran: senior mullah tells women to “stay home and be ladies”

Mullah Yousef Tabatabaie-Nezhad, Friday prayer leader in Isfahan shed light on the mullahs’ reactionary viewpoints that belong to the Middle Ages in saying, “Many women completely forget their decencies. In Islam men have the duty of being breadwinners, and if women are to serve as flight attendants cleaning up trash, wouldn’t it be better for them to stay in the privacy of their homes and have their husband do such work.”
“Stay home and be ladies,” this reactionary mullah said in his remarks to Iranian women.
