Iran: Conditions for women’s appearance on TV shows

The directors of a comedy show on the Iranian state-run television network set ridiculous conditions for women’s appearance in the show.

This was in reaction to criticisms levelled by state officials about female moderators' style of covering, as well as too much laughing in the show.

The conditions which if violated will deprive women from entering the show include wearing while or pseudo-white or black and pseudo-black colors, wearing satin, shiny or tinseled dresses or shawls, wearing nail polish or make-up, wearing jewelry and watches, wearing high heels, etc.
