Iran: Coronavirus Death Toll in 543 Cities Exceeds 298,800

 Saeed Namaki, regime’s Health Minister: Given the spread of Indian and South African COVID-19 variants, we are worried about the next dangerous outbreak. 30% of hospitalizations will go to the ICU. (Tasnim news agency, May 26, 2021)

  • Tehran City Council: Since the beginning of last week, the number of COVID-19 hospitalizations has increased significantly; the situation in Tehran is not favorable and should still be considered red.   • The Scientific Committee for the National Coronavirus Combat Taskforce (NCCT): In the production of vaccines, the chain must be fully protected, and in case of any interruptions due to power outages, the entire production chain must be restarted from the beginning, and millions of dollars may be lost in damage. The People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) announced on Wednesday, May 26, 2021, that the Coronavirus casualties in 543 cities had exceeded 298,800. The number of victims in Tehran has reached 69,816, Isfahan 19,885, Khorasan Razavi 18,195, Khuzestan 18,634, East Azerbaijan 12,248, Lorestan 12,050, Mazandaran 12,030, West Azerbaijan 11,213, Fars 9,887, Golestan 7,265, Sistan and Baluchestan 6,856, Kerman 6,693, Hamedan 6,623, Central Province 6,223, Ardabil 3,750, Hormozgan 3,580, Ilam 3,146, Bushehr 3,109, Qazvin 3,444, and Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad 2,339.
