Iran: The Clerical Regime’s Coronavirus Policy Takes The Lives Of 376,400

 More than 2,100 people died in the past 24 hours

• Mostafa Mirsalim, regime’s parliament deputy: Due to the negligence of the officials, our country has ranked first for COVID-19 deaths. (ISNA news agency, August 21, 2021)
• Director of Tehran’s Cemetery, Behesht-e Zahra: The number of COVID-19 deaths in Tehran in the fifth outbreak has increased by 2 to 2.5 times, and 40% of the victims are from Tehran. (IRNA news agency, August 21, 2021)
• According to Mehr News Agency, today, “The highest number of fatalities recorded in Behesht-e Zahra Cemetery during the first to fifth COVID-19 outbreaks were 119, 116, 173, 156, and 216 accordingly. The high death rate days of Coronavirus continue in the city and Behesht-e Zahra.
• Shiraz University of Medical Sciences: Since the beginning of the fifth Coronavirus outbreak, 3% of Fars Province’s health care staff have been infected with Coronavirus. (ISNA, August 21, 2021)

The People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) announced on Saturday, August 20, 2021, that the Coronavirus death toll in 547 cities across Iran had exceeded 376,400. The number of victims in Tehran has reached 88,596, Khorasan Razavi 25,485, Isfahan 25,020, Khuzestan 23,316, Mazandaran 14,625, East Azerbaijan 13,868, Lorestan 13,490, West Azerbaijan 13,303, Fars 13,242, Gilan 12,615, Sistan and Baluchestan 11,200, Alborz 10,998, Qom 10,735, Kerman 9,658, Golestan 9,010, Hamedan 7,503, Central Province 7,313, Yazd 6,548, Hormozgan 6,510, Kurdistan 6,027, Semnan 5,685, Ardabil 4,625, Bushehr 4,324, Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari 2,985, and Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad 2,834.
