Iran: reports of protest rallies across the country

Repressive state police in Tehran intended to arrest a number of young girls in Niavaran Park at 2 in the morning on Wednesday, July 9th. However they faced stiff resistance and the girls screaming for help. This resistance, and the presence of other people in the area, forced the repressive police to flee the area in fear of retaliation by the people.
A group of taxi drivers in Kermanshah, western Iran, rallied outside the taxi drivers’ organization building in this city on Wednesday, July 9th, demanding lesser annual expenses for their taxis.
The workers of the Paksan Company in Tehran went on strike on Tuesday, July 8th, demanding their unpaid salaries.
Workers of the Abedi Auto Manufacturing Company in Tehran protested the delays in their insurance pensions being deposited. They rallied outside the company building demanding their pensions and for the depositing process to be corrected.
Passengers of the Tehran-Mashhad train protested the cancellation of this train trip on Wednesday, July 9th, at the Tehran rail station. This train was to leave at 8:30 pm from Tehran but it was cancelled due to the low number of passengers.

Iran – youth beating state police in city west of Tehran

A number of youths in the city of Karaj clashed and severely beat a group of state police patrols on motorcycles on Friday, July 11th.  This scuffle took place when the agents intended to bother and harass a number of women and girls on the mullah-fabricated charge of bad hijab. Seeing this scene the youths rushed to the support of the ladies and beat the state police agents.
In reports received from inside Iran shirt sewing workshops in Tehran continued their strike on Saturday, July 12th, protesting the regime’s tax extortions.
Workers of the Ghaem Copper Company in Isfahan protested not receiving their Ramadan bonuses by rallying outside the company building.

Iran – youths beat regime agents across Tehran

A group of youths in Tehran’s Jamshidiya Park clashed with Bassij agents on the afternoon of Saturday, July 12th, beating them severely. The Bassij agents intended to harass the youth and college students in the park, yet they faced stiff protests that led to clashes and the youths beating the Bassij agents.
A group of young boys and girls in Tehran’s Mellat Park clashed with a number of state police agents that intended to disrupt their programs on the night of Saturday, July 12th. The repressive agents threw pepper gas and arrested a number of the youths.
