Iraqi forces intensify harassments Iranians in Camp Liberty

NCRI - The Iraqi Prime Ministry has tasked the Iraqi forces stationed around Camp Liberty to ratchet up pressures and restrictions on PMOI members in Camp Liberty and to intensify the logistic and medical blockade against the residents, according to reports from inside Iran.
According to the Prime Ministry directive, the forces have been ordered to increase tensions at Camp Liberty through harassing the residents, undertaking provoking acts such as insulting the residents and hurling stones at them, pointing the barrel of their heavy machine guns toward the residents, firing sudden shots, sounding the siren of vehicles, and holding military formations.
Moreover, by disseminating bogus information, the Iraqi forces intend to portray the residents as the guilty party for these provocations.
This directive has been issued after Nouri al-Maliki dispatched a delegation of his representatives to Tehran on June 26 to ask the Iranian regime’s leaders for political and military support.
Reciprocally, the clerical regime told the delegation to intensify suppressive measures and conspiracies against the PMOI (MeK).
