(Khabar Online, January 30, 2021)- Masih Daneshvari Hospital: If they (Government) were going to get the Russian vaccine, why did they delay for six months until thousands of people died?! (Jahan-e Sanat daily, January 30, 2021)
- Mohammad-Reza Mahboubfar, member of the National Coronavirus Combat Taskforce (NCCT): The only solution to contain COVID-19 is through vaccination. Some neighboring countries have vaccinated 40% of their population. But we have not started yet. (Hamdely daily, January 30, 2021)
- Mokhtari, Member of the Scientific Committee of the NCCT: In the past eight months, the COVID-19 transmission rate has been recorded at 1.2, but in the past two weeks, it has reached 5.7. (Javan, January 30, 2021)

- The spokesperson for the Health Ministry: The Coronavirus situation in the country is extremely sensitive, fragile, and unstable. 18 cities in the north are in orange status
The People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) announced on Saturday, January 30, 2021, that the Coronavirus death toll in 478 cities had exceeded 208,700. The number of victims in Tehran is 50,466, Isfahan 13,260, Khuzestan 10,390, Mazandaran 8,512, East Azerbaijan 7,943, West Azerbaijan 7,678, Fars 6,317, Golestan 5,325, Hamedan 4,918, Kerman 4,634, Kermanshah 4,304, Yazd 3,847, North Khorasan 3,213, Ardabil 2,592, and Qazvin 2,239.
While medical authorities and even the regime’s own officials speak of an increase in the number of infected people and the risk of a fourth COVID-19 outbreak wave as well as a mutation in the virus, Hassan Rouhani brazenly tried to cover up the regime’s criminal policy on vaccines. Giving hollow promises he said, “Experts are confident that domestically produced vaccines will be available next year and vaccinations will be done.” While in the past two months, Rouhani, the head of the central bank, and other regime officials had repeatedly emphasized that they have resolved the funding and currency issue for the vaccine, and while the US government had repeatedly stated that there was no obstacle for the regime to pay for the vaccine, fearing public outrage over the vaccination issue, Rouhani foolishly blamed the vaccine crisis on the United States, saying, “The previous US administration’s crimes were to the extent that it stopped treatment, vaccines, equipment, loans, and obstacles everywhere.”
