Mounting pressure and human rights violations in Iranian prisons

Due to the broadcast of severe jamming in Karaj’s Gohardasht Prison by officials, the conditions of 2 political prisoners are dire. Mashallah Haeri suffered bleeding from the nose, ear and mouth and was urgently rushed to the prison clinic. Also, political prisoner Mohammad Banazadeh Amir Khizi, lost his balance, fell to the ground and suffered a fractured arm and injuries in the head area.

For over two months now, there is no news of the condition of political prisoner Arjang Davoudi, who was exiled to the Bandar Abbas Prison, and his family has had no contact with him. He had stated a while ago that he would go on hunger strike in protest to the dire and inhumane prison conditions and also the pressures imposed on him in the Bandar Abbas Prison.
