Death row Sunni Kurdish political prisoners by the names of Hamed Ahmadi, Kamal Molaei, Jamshid Dehghani and Jahangir Dehghani, entered their 20th of hunger strike on Tuesday, July 1st. They are suffering from low blood pressure, serious fatigue and other symptoms seen in hunger strikers.
On Sunday, Hamed Ahmadi had a telephone call with his family but he literally could not speak. Jamshid and Jahangir Dehghani lost their conscience for the fourth time so far. A doctor has said Jahangir Dehghani’s vital signs have reached a warning limit and he may suffer from irrecoverable illnesses.
It is worth noting that these four political prisoners were on hunger strike for 70 days last fall and winter, and they are still suffering from those side-effects. The inhumane mullahs’ regime promised to revoke their death sentences and they ended their hunger strike back then. However, the mullahs never lived up to their promise.
According to reports from inside Iran the families of these four political prisoners are continuing their protests and sit-ins demanding their loved ones’ death sentences be revoked.
