Spanish deligation lead by Margarita Duran Vadell
Ladies and gentlemen, people of Mojahedin, dear friends, good afternoon.
I am really proud to speak on behalf of the Spanish delegation here in Paris, the delegation which includes members of the Spanish parliament and the Senate and the European parliament. All of us want to express our solidarity with this great congress today for Iran freedom. We are happy to have Mrs. Rajavi in Madrid in December 2012. It was really a great success and many of us have attended the meetings of NCRI in Brussels in Geneva and in Paris.
I know your suffering by the attacks on Camp Liberty and Ashraf, the seven hostages, the 52 martyrs in Ashraf. I personally believe madam Rajavi is an exemplary leader in the Middle East and we think that they must be supported by western countries. Her secular democratic platform is maybe the only hope to millions in Iran. We admire her support of human rights and democratic values and also we admire the courage of all these people who risk their lives and their freedom for a free Iran, like you.
The illusion of a so-called moderate mullah in Iran is descending very fast with Rouhani. The execution of 800 prisoners during the last 12 months is one of the highest numbers in the last year, increasing repression on women, journalists, web loggers and Internet users and show that the only solution is a regime change for a democratic Iran.
And now I would like to conclude by expressing our best wishes to the brave people in Camp Liberty as brave as the lion of your flag. They have always been in danger, I know, but now in this moment this destiny can be worse. We are very concerned about them. They resistance to all those inhuman and repressive action by the government of Iraq, the government of Maliki, is an inspiration to all of us. We are engaged with you and we will keep supporting you until the day Iran is free. Viva Iran Libre.
