                Iranian Kurdistan workers rallied to commemorate this year’s May Day         

Workers in the city of Bane in Iran’s Kurdistan Province held rallies outside the city on Thursday, May 1st, marking May Day. This rally started with a minute of silence and respect for those who have lost their lives for freedom. Following that the participants delivered speeches regarding May Day.
In the city of Pave workers held a ceremony commemorating May Day on Thursday, May 1st, in the mountainous regions of this city. Furthermore, a group of workers in this city distributed pastries amongst workers of the Dariyan and Gharni dam.
Workers of the city of Marivan in Kurdistan Province also held rallies on May Day. They held rallies in various areas including outside bakeries, the industrial complex, brick factories and a number of henhouses. On the afternoon of that same day a large number of workers in Marivan, Pave and Nudashe rallied in the Uraman region to commemorate this day.
