Two weeks after the dreadful April 17th attack by Iranian regime authorities against inmates of ward 350 in Tehran’s notorious Evin Prison, finally all inmates transferred to solitary confinement in ward 240 were taken back to their previous cells in ward 350.
Saeed Matin-pour, Soheil Babadi, Behnam Ibrahimzadeh, Omid Zarei, Samku Khelghati, Gholamreza Khosravi, Mohammad Shojaie, Mohammad Amin Hadvi and Behzad Arab-Gol, all transferred to solitary confinement, have now been returned to Evin’s ward 350.
This is while Behzad Arab-Gol was transferred to Evin’s clinic after returning to ward 350. Mohammad Sedigh Kabudvand is also currently in the clinic.
Following the April 17th events in ward 350 in Tehran’s Evin Prison, 32 political prisoners were taken to solitary confinement of ward 240. Other inmates were returned before in various days.
It is worth noting most of the inmates have lost a considerable amount of weight due to their hunger strike.
