In Iran news on prisons, dire conditions reported from inmates detained in the city of Borazjan in southern Iran. According to these reports despite the intense summer heat in this area the prison inmates in this city have no means of air conditioning or cooling. Therefore, the consequences of this intense heat on prison conditions have been very severe. During the holy month of Ramadan this situation became even worse while prisoners were fasting.
