A group of employees of the Tehran Firefighting Organization and Safety Services on Sunday, December 13th held a protest rally outside the Tehran municipality office and the so-called city council.
The rallying firefighters were protesting authorities neglecting harsh labor laws and their retirement needs.
State-run media covered the event and emphasized on the intense security atmosphere imposed by the mullahs’ regime.
“Despite wearing their uniforms the firefighters decided to cover their faces and make their identification more difficult for municipality officials to prevent any troubles after the strike,” the media reported.
