Iran: steel workers close Sanandaj road in recent protest

Workers of the Zagros Steel Factory in the city of Gharwe in Iran Kurdistan staged a gathering blocking the Sanandaj governorate road on Sunday, April 6th, protesting their limbo status. Workers chanted “Allah o’Akbar”, (God is Great) and also calling for their demands to be seen to.
The regime’s repressive police viciously attacked these workers but they resisted and continued their protest gathering which was in its second day.
These workers had also rallied on Saturday, April 5th, outside the regime’s Labor Department.
