Frustrated to confront the deprived people of Sistan and Baluchistan, the religious and terrorist dictatorship ruling Iran, in an atrocious move, has resorted to the assassination of Sunni clergies, the trusties and civilians in this province. On Sunday, March 30th, Mowlavi Abdollah Baji Zehi, the preacher of Shirabad Mosque in Zahedan, was targeted with four bullets in his head as he was leaving the mosque and passed away on the spot. On the same day, two 34 and 40 year old civilians by the last name of Shahoozehi were machine-gunned and murdered by the mullahs’ regime’s murderers.
On Monday, April 1st, Mr. Morad Kahrazehi, 45, was shot with 8 bullets in Zahedan and was severely injured. He is currently in a coma. On Tuesday, April 2nd, Mr. Khadad Naroui, 60, one of the trustees from Bezman, a town from Iranshahr environs, was machine-gunned and killed by mercenaries.
Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, President-elect of the Iranian Resistance, expressed her solidarity and sympathy with the families of the victims and all the people of Sistan and Baluchistan, and called on the world community, especially the UN Secretary-General, UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, Special Rapporteur on freedom of religion or belief, the Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights in Iran, the United Nations and all international authorities advocating human rights, to strongly condemn these atrocities. She also asked for the formation of a fact-finding mission to probe into these indiscriminate and brutal attacks.
Mrs. Rajavi added, “Mullahs’ regime’s resorting to such indiscriminate assassinations shows that even the wave of collective and arbitrary executions, which has increased unprecedentedly after mullah Rouhani took office, does not satisfy bloody desire of criminals ruling Iran for bloodshed, and the mullahs’ regime in fear of the outburst of the people’s wrath, especially in deprived areas like Sistan and Baluchistan province, spares no crime.”
