The Tuesday session of the Iranian regime’s Majlis (parliament) turned into turmoil when cases of massive billion dollar thefts were discussed.
Iranian MP Mullah Hamid Rasaei of Khamenei’s faction lashed out at Rouhani’s Oil Minister Bijan Zangane and referred to thefts of Ahmadinejad’s faction.
“You say… I want to prevent another ‘Babak Zanjani’… go and prevent another Crescent case! Just in this case based on information of The Hague we have suffered an $8bn dollar loss,” he revealed.
Majlis speaker Ali Larijani entered the scene here and disrupted Rasaei’s remarks and prevented him from continuing. “Please do not enter this issue. This has to be discussed in another place, here is not the place.”
However, Rasaei insisted on continuing and said, “I didn’t want to discuss the oil cases, but the Crescent has forced us to pay $8bn dollars in damages…”
Larijani jumped in again and warned, “I am warning you! I told you that this is related to national security and it is being discussed there… it is not the interest to discuss this matter here!”
Following this dispute, aired directly through radio, the Majlis went into turmoil for a few minute with members of different factions yelling back and forth.
