A number of protesters were arrested following protest rallies staged by the supporters of Mohammad Ali Taheri in Tehran. The families of these detained individuals rallied outside the detention center on Sunday, August 16 demanding information about their detained families and relatives.
60 members of the ‘Erfan Halghe’ sect – most of them being women – were arrested during the rally staged on Sunday, August 16 outside the prosecutor office.
