Prison authorities and torturers of Minab Prison, northwestern Iran, transferred Ali Moradi, a political prisoner to the solitary after severely beating him for protesting against delays in medical treatment of another political prisoner Afshin Sohrabzadeh.
Moradi was beaten so badly that his cellmates got worried for his life. He was arrested for being a member of a Kurdish group and has been sentenced to 30 years imprisonment and exile to Minab, hundreds of kilometers away from his hometown.
