Iran: pol prisoner Omid Behruzi in Evin Prison in dire physical conditions

Political prisoner Omid Behruzi, a lawyer of the Dervish minority community, is currently suffering from serious pains in the neck and back. He has been recently transferred to Section 350of Evin Prison .
Evin Prison authorities and torturers have been refusing to allow this lawyer receive medical treatment for nearly a year now, all under orders from the regime’s judiciary. He has also been deprived from receiving treatment in the prison clinic, and the authorities are saying he must first wear the prison uniform. 
Preventing the transfer of this prisoner to medical centers is taking place while physicians inside Evin have said his conditions and illnesses are seriously deteriorating.
Political prisoner Omid Behruzi, now four years in jail, said he will never wear prison uniforms in order to defend the dignity of his profession.
