In Iran political prisoner news, Behnam Ibrahimzadeh entered his 21st of hunger strike on Friday, August 29th. Gohardasht Prison officials have threatened to transfer him to solitary confinement if he doesn’t stop his hunger strike. This political prisoner has said he will go on a dry hunger strike if his demands are not responded to by September 1st.
Behnam Ibrahimzadeh is on strike protesting the mandatory transfer from Tehran’s Evin Prison to Gohardasht Prison in Karaj, west of the capital, and being placed in the ward of ordinary prisoners.
