Iran: 9 prisoners in solitary waiting to be hanged

9 prisoners in solitary to be executed
Reports from inside Iranian prisons indicate that 9 prisoners were transferred to the solitary in Gohardasht prison, Karaj, west of Tehran last night (Saturday) to be executed soon. Their families have been noticed to go for the last visit before the hanging. 
These 9 prisoners which are being hanged for drug related charges are identified as: Omid Mohammadi-Dara, Mostafa Ghaffarzadeh, Omid-reza Karampour, Shahriar Hassanzadeh, Hossein Afghan, Yareh Hassanzadeh, Sasan Salari, Maithan Hassani-nejad and Amanollah Balouchzehi. 
These 9 prisoners are currently being held in the solitary in Karaj prison to meet their ultimate destiny.
Since the end of Ramadan, the month of fasting for Moslems which was last Saturday, the Iranian mullahs hastened the number of execution, particularly since the nuclear agreement with the world powers have reached. 
These prisoners are being hanged while the mullahs’ parliament has been scheduled to study and vote on a bill banning the capital punishment for drug related charges. This bill has been put on the back burner for last three months, while dozens of prisoners are being hanged weekly for the same charge.
Iran is the only country which has such harsh punishment for petty drug users. This is at a time where the powerful Revolutionary Guards Corps, the IRGC, is the main source of drug trafficking ring in the country.
