Iran hardliners angry over European Parliament resolution against regime

Hossein Shariatmadari, editor-in-chief of the Khamenei-mouthpiece ‘Keihan’ daily, was very angry over the European Parliament resolution and in his column described the ratification of this resolution as the result of incompetence in Hassan Rouhani’s government.
“The Islamic republic giving in to the ‘Geneva agreement’ is the main issue and objective of this European Parliament resolution, and the remaining 23 articles of this resolution are only aimed at forcing Iran to implement the Geneva agreement,” he said.
“This agreement, of which we have written many criticizing and in-depth pieces, and today the rival (Rouhani) sees the solution in Iran forgoing all the accomplishments of the Islamic revolution in order to implement the articles of this agreement, is the same agreement that our dear - but unaware - brothers were citing as the biggest agreement of the century!” Shariatmadari continued.
“The same agreement that the respected president describes as the world powers kneeling before Iran!”
The hardline “Javan” daily, belonging to the Revolutionary Guards’ Bassij force, wrote in this regard, “The truth is that retreating from each bunker will result in the foe asking for the next bunker, and this trend will continue until we are completely swallowed by the West’s culture and politics. Nuclear negotiations show that the West has doubled its meddling in Iran with the goal of nationally embarrassing the Iranians, human rights, our missile systems, supporting sedition leaders, meeting and presenting awards to the opposition inside the country and setting standards of behavior for our government officials”.
The Tasnim news agency linked to the terrorist IRGC Quds Force reported, “Participants in Tehran Friday prayers chanted ‘Death to America’ and marched towards Enghelab Square protesting theEuropean Union’s anti-Iranian resolution”.
