Iran: 2 Kurdish pol prisoners in harsh conditions behind bars

                  Harsh conditions for political prisoners in Iran, especially Kurdish minorities

In Iran crackdown news on minorities, a Kurdish political prisoner by the name of Farhad Panirak, currently detained in Salmas Prison, has recently been transferred to solitary confinement and his family has no information of the reason for this transfer. This prisoner has been condemned to five years behind bars and two years of that sentence has already passed.
Another Kurdish political prisoner by the name of Darwish Zandi is from the border town of Bazargan near Maku in northwestern Iran who has been condemned to 15 years behind bars. He was detained in 2011 and is currently detained in Bandar Lange Prison and is suffering from kidney illness and the regime’s authorities are refusing to provide him treatment outside of prison.
