According to reports received from inside Iran, political prisoner Reza Shahabi, a member of the Tehran bus drivers’ syndicate, ended his hunger strike after meeting with officials in charge of his case. He has been assured of receiving medical treatment and leave from prison.
According to physicians he needs to undergo treatment for a month after his hunger strike to be ready for surgery. According to what has been promised Reza Shahabi can go home after surgery and rehab there.
