Breaking news: Security guards of Gohardasht prison, Karaj attacked the ward of Sunni prisoners of conscience

                  
 Sources at Gohardasht prison said that at 4 PM, Monday, July 14, 2014 security guards attacked ward no. 10 where Sunni prisoners of conscious are held captive. The report says about 80 to 90 Suppressive Security Guards raided the ward no 10 and rounded up all prisoners sending them outside the building in the summer heat taunting and beating them. This was while the prisoners were fasting during the month of Ramadan. 
 According to the source, who asked not to be named for fear of retribution from the prison authorities, the security guards searched the belongings smashing everything and tearing up their religious books. 
The security guards normally raid the prison wards by the pretext of confiscating mobiles, electric appliances and electronic books. These attacks happen mainly against political prisoners and other prisoners of conscious, particularly the Sunnis and other religious minorities and it is followed by beating, taunting and humiliating the prisoners.
