Influenza spreading in southeast Iran prison

Influenza spreading in Iran

Cases of influenza illnesses have been on the rise in Zahedan Central Prison in southeast Iran. Lack of any medical care for these prisoners has raised concerns amongst other inmates and their families. More than 70 prisoners in one of the wards of this prison have gone to the clinic in this regard, and all have been diagnosed with influenza, according to published reports.
Prison authorities have told inmates there is no possible way to provide medical care for all the prisoners, and they will get better by time!
Zahedan Central Prison has over 2,000 inmates and more than 350 are on death row.
