Iran: Police to be harsher on mal-veiled women


Tehran’s Prosecutor announced that Police is going to be harsher on “improper veiling”.
Abbas Jaafari Dowlatabadi, Tehran’s Prosecutor, said “preemptive judicial instructions” have been issued for combating mal-veiling and “Police is going to deal more seriously with such manifestations.”
The Iranian regime’s Supreme Council for Cultural Revolution adopted a plan in 2005 entitled, “Executive solutions for expanding the culture of chastity and veiling”. The plan outlines a list of duties for 26 cultural, social, educational and security agencies and institutions to implement the plan.
